I think that this fable's moral is to watch out for those who deceive. They will never stop until they get what they want. They will do the most unexpected things just to get what they are craving for. In the fable the fox can only get in if it's a sheep, so it uses a disguise, which is what most enemies would do. So be responsible for your own actions and try not to get tricked very easily.
